About Tim

I have worked in the Information Technology field for 15 years. My passion is working with other people in the IT community to share ideas and dreams, allowing each of us as a part of the whole to be better than we would be on our own. I have served in leadership positions for a number of IT Professional user groups in Denver and in Tulsa, having most recently founded the Microsoft IT Pros of Tulsa user group. I am currently working for a mid-sized business in the oil and gas industry as a server and storage administrator as well as serving as Vice-Chairman of the Board for Culminis North America, a global user group support organization. That covers my work and my many posts regarding technology.
I am also a church-going, law-abiding, married, conservative American father who believes in the power of people and not the power of government. That will cover the posts that occur when the government does things SO stupid that I just can’t contain myself (and with the new administration and congress in place that will probably happen often).
